First Pop-Up Museum of the EU Road of Gelato to Launch in Bulgaria

We are excited to announce that the first stop of the Pop-Up Museum Tour, part of the EU Road of Gelato (ERoG), will be held in Bulgaria! This inaugural event will take place in the picturesque city of Vratsa during the Vratsa Autumn Fair 2024, on the 14th and 15th of September.
The Pop-Up Museum is an innovative initiative designed to promote the values and traditions of artisanal gelato across Europe. Each stop on the tour will involve local stakeholders, offering linked events, training sessions, and informational activities that highlight the rich heritage of gelato making. This project aims to strengthen the network among the different sites of the ERoG, promoting a quality label for gelato production and fostering sustainability and high standards across the continent.
The launch event in Vratsa, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vratsa, promises to be a vibrant celebration of gelato culture. Attendees can look forward to an array of engaging activities, including workshops, demonstrations, and tastings that showcase the artistry of gelato making.
A special effort will be made by our Lead Partner, Longarone Fiere Dolomiti (LFD), renowned for organizing the annual MIG fair, the oldest and most prestigious gelato fair in the world. Their expertise will ensure that the Pop-Up Museum Tour not only celebrates the traditions of artisanal gelato but also promotes innovation and excellence within the industry.
